Since I can't post any of the Christmas commissions I am working on (don't want to ruin any surprises), I will post one I am working on for myself. This is a large (22 x 28") oil on linen canvas. None of it is finished yet, except perhaps the crystal ball. All the rest is in various stages of painting. The three whippets will be the last to be painted. The photo shows it as it sits on my easel in my studio.

This new painting has me breathless - I can't wait to see when you start painting the dogs. The composition is stunning.
